Clavon Clark

The Amber Alert has been cancelled for 4-year old Clavon Clark from Garland. He was found safe Friday, June 6, 2006 just before 11:00 a.m. and his mother was arrested. They were located Friday morning just before 11:00 am in the 4300 block of Grason in Grand Prairie by Grand Prairie Police.  Kristi was transported to the Garland Jail.  Investigators transported Clavon Clark back to Garland. 

The following Amber Alert was received from the Garland Police Department:

On October 5, 2006 at approximately 7:30 pm Garland Police answered a child abduction call in the 800 block of Shorecrest Drive in Garland.  The biological mother, 21 year old Kristi Maloy, had taken her 4 year old son, Clavon Clark, from his grandmother’s home.

Kristi took the child by force from the grandmother and during the abduction ran over the grandmother’s foot and leg with the car she was leaving in.  Police have further learned that Kristi’s mental state is such that she is not capable of taking care of the child and is endangering Clavon by being alone with him.  At the time of the obduction Kristi was driving a gray 2003 Mitsubishi Galant with Texas tags T93CKG. 

The car is currently reported as stolen by Dallas PD.  At this time Police believe Kristi is still in the Dallas metroplex area.  Police have obtained an Aggravated Assault warrant for the arrest of Kristi and are trying to locate her and Clavon.  Garland Police are asking that If anyone sees the car, Kristi or Clavon they immediately call 911.
