Although Justin Black has not been located, DPS has opted to discontinue the Amber Alert issued Monday, May 9th.  New Mexico State Police continue to search for Justin Black, a white male infant (DOB 1-23-2004).  He weighs about 20 pounds and he has brown hair and brown eyes.  The child has been missing since his mother was found murdered at her apartment complex in Ruidoso, New Mexico Sunday, May 8th. 

Police believe the woman's husband is responsible for her death and that he may have taken the child.  The husband is indentified as Ivan Villa.  Villa is 22 years old.  He is 5-11 and 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.  Villa may be driving a gray or silver 2000 Mustang with New Mexico tags (GBN805). 

Soon after the incident, authorities determined that Villa was  headed for West Texas or the Houston area and possibly had the child in his custody.
